Located in the heart of Strathfield, this new home is the prime example of modern chic living with state of the art technology.

The three storey home, constructed as a wafflepod slab, brick veneer home, features Colourbond roofing with an acrylic rendered external finish.  Constructed with RediWall to ensure maximum water proofing, Atlantis drainage cell and suspended concrete slab above, the basement makes for the perfect man cave. The water pump out system includes drainage pits with two pumps connected to mains power and a specialised UPS (uninterrupted power supply) ensuring the pumps will continue in the event of a power outage.

Double glazed windows are installed throughout. Large double storey windows in the stair void allow for beautiful light flow from the morning courtyard. Windows at the rear of the home and highlight windows in the first floor hall both create a major feature allowing a mass of natural light throughout the day. This together with large format tiles, 3 meter high ceilings, voids and crisp white walls all contribute to the modern, light, open and sleek home.

Over 7 kilometres of cabling saw this home come to life. Full automation through an extensive control 4 system meant that creating the perfect lighting scene, individually controlling the blinds and curtains, turning on the underfloor heating  and controlling all security was a simple task anytime of the day from anywhere in the world via the use of a smart phone. A dedicated theatre room complete with star lit ceiling, tiered seating, sound proof plaster and acoustic insulation, custom theatre seating connected to the control 4 system is enjoyed by young and old.

Our clients love to cook and entertain, the kitchen was designed to oversee the dining, living, alfresco and backyard pool areas. Clean lines, plenty of storage and a workable butler’s pantry were key elements. Every detail was thoughtfully planned.

The outdoor alfresco area, with 8 metre high ceilings, acts as an extension of the living areas and contains a stainless kitchen and wood fire oven, making it the perfect space for entertaining all year round. The gas heated concrete pool and spa with slide, rock cave and waterfall was designed with the families young children in mind.

To create balance, Coolum stone feature cladding was used both internally and externally. The cladding to the entry blade wall creates interest and street appeal. The Coolum stone planter boxes used to house 70 year old dragon trees are a major point of interest of the landscaped gardens.

A must for the home was low maintenance gardens and materials. Decking, bench seating and fencing were constructed out of Decowood and external walls have been finished in Dulux acrylic render requiring low to no maintenance.

Other features of this home include Vergola portico, Actron air conditioning units throughout, 36 LG solar panels, electro bronze powder coated garage doors, a copper coated front door by axolotl coatings and open rise Mono stringer stair case with custom balustrading.
